Description
Drawn in 1939 in Nice according to the certificate from Mme Marguerite Duthuit, the artist’s daughter, dated Paris 6/10/75. Further more Mme Duthuit has pointed out that the archive number on the reverse should be E88 and not E38 as it appears. Wanda de Guebriant has confirmed that this work is correctly recorded in the Matisse Archives.
